STAR Machine Tools is pleased to celebrate over 23 years of supplying quality machines and products to machinists, manufacturers and distributors.

STAR has a long history of continuing quality improvements, refinement of machines, and offering value and durability for today’s industrial requirements.

Founded in 1983 as United Trading Company of America in Tacoma, Washington, STAR began by importing consumer goods from Asia for national distribution.

In 1989 STAR began to offer consumer and industrial woodworking tools and metalworking machine tools.

STAR relocated to a larger distribution center, main office, engineering and tech center in Fife, Washington, a suburb of Seattle in 2005.

Our product lines include:

• Lathes, manual geared head, precision engine, gap bed and large spindle bore
• Mills, manual vertical knee, standard and heavy-duty
